$400 mill, thats pretty huge....for anything. I hope it hits it, so we can keep enjoy more and more GTA games
Also, I hope that if it makes 400 million, they decide to release the PC version sooner :S

They are interesting games. I think they are called sandbox games.
There is a story with different paths, but like Morrowind, you don't have to do the story, you can just mess around.
Also, when you are doing a story mission, you are free to tackle it anyway you wish with whatever resources you've found so far. You can jump into an airline jet and parachute out of it into the bad guys' camp instead of barging in with the bulldozer the mission provides. Or you can steal a boat and pick off the badguy with a sniper rifle from the lake. Or you can grab a towtruck, move all his vehicles away and barge in and when he tries to make a break for it, he ain't got no wheels to use! XD
Whatever you can imagine.

Yes, they are a lot of fun. You can run around the city and do so many different things. There is a storyline, but you don't have to follow it. There are hundreds of vehicles that you can drive around, and there are also several radio stations (all with "interesting" subjects and commercials, music, talk radio, etc.). There is much you can do; like steal an ambulance and then try to save people and get them to the hospital (ironic, I know); steal a taxi and drive people to their locations; etc. There are many little things that you can do, and sometimes it's just as fun to drive around on car or motorcycle as it is to go around shooting people.

I was always a fan of getting hit by cars. I only wished there was a "Sue Motorist for everything they have" option after being hit.
But yeh, GTA4 looks to be pretty good.

Well, a good game with an open storyline can be replayed and replayed and replayed again and again and over and over etc.... so it makes sense that they should be grossing 100s of millions. With the quality of the new releases (visually) they are comparable to movies and you can use it more than once, so heck yeah I'll plunk down the $60 for it and play all year.

It's official. GTA IV has broken all entertainment industry records.
It sold $390 million in its first 24 hours, $500 million in its first week worldwide.
"Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End" made $404 million worldwide in its first week
"The Lion King" made $350 million domestic in its first week.
"However, comparisons between movies, music, books and video games don't take into account the huge disparity in price points. "GTA IV" retails for $60 and up, depending on the market, while previous record holder "Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End" generated $404 million in its first six days in worldwide theaters last May largely on single ticket sales in the $10 range."

The Game is fun but I always turn Sadistic -_-.
I would use to cheats to summon Tanks, God Mode and make everyone Hostile.
So the game was like an Online Game -_-.
But I stopped I never really went to the Storyline, just put the disc and start killing.
Good thing I wasn't much of a Fan.
Not thinking of buying the Latest Release either ^_^.
